There are many fiction books on campus. You can use Scout to search for a title, author, or keyword, then use the limiters on the left side of the page to narrow your results by source type (Books, eBooks) or subject (for example, Vampires -- Fiction). You can also limit your search to a specific location, like Gorgas.

In Gorgas Library, most literature is located on the third floor. There is also a new books section on the first floor (on the west side, near the fireplace).

The School Library Collection includes many children's and young adult fiction and non-fiction books.

There are some fun collections- like comics and zines- at Hoole Special Collections Library.

If the book you'd like isn't available in the Libraries, you can request a copy via Interlibrary Loan.

That being said, our collection is primarily academic.

The Tuscaloosa Public Library offers library cards for free to UA students, You can register for an E-card on the Tuscaloosa Public Library Website, which provides access to E-book collections through Libby, Hoopla, and Overdrive. You can also present your student ID at the Public Library to get a full-access library card.
