UA + Box is a service provided by The University of Alabama to active students, faculty and staff. UA + Box provides a secure, cloud-based toolset and storage space for your documents. UA + Box facilitates collaboration, if you're doing group work, and allows for access to your files from anywhere. Each user receives a default 10 GB of storage space.
Current students, faculty and staff can access or create their UA Box account here. Use your myBama credentials as your username and password.
Once your account is created, you can use the "Upload" button to add files to your account. You can also create new files in the Box format using the "New" dropdown menu. Each document allows for individual privacy settings; by clicking "Share" next to a file, you can set its access level.
OIT recommends that this service not be used for archiving old data or for personal storage of photos and music. It is intended for current projects and collaborations. For more information about using UA + Box, please visit this webpage
