The Alabama Public Library Service provides free access to prep materials for the Praxis test, one of a series of American teacher certification exams written and administered by the Educational Testing Service. Various Praxis tests are usually required before, during, and after teacher training courses in the U.S.
These materials are available through a database called Learning Express Library, found here.
The following login instructions are also listed on the database page. First-time users must create an account HERE. Choose Learning Express Library from the Resource and Research Links list, and then create an account with a username and password. Using your MyBama username and password is not required.
After logging in, follow the Jobs and Careers tab to the menu Teaching. Here you'll find all the Praxis study materials.
For more information, check out McLure's blog on this process.
