Reference materials are non-circulating and must be used in-house. On the first floor, there is small bookshelf to the right of the Information Desk that houses reference books on the following subjects: style guides, software guides, dictionaries, thesauruses, books on the history of the university, and world almanacs and atlases.  Some items shelved in the regular stacks in Gorgas are also designated as non-circulating, as indicated by a sticker on the cover.

You can also find reference materials online through the library's Databases page. Search the term "reference" to find a list of sources.
