Graduate students who were enrolled in spring semester courses will retain their library privileges all summer, regardless of whether they are enrolled in interim or summer courses.  Graduate students will only lose their library privileges over the summer if they have graduated.

Undergraduate students who were enrolled in spring semester courses and who are pre-registered for fall classes will retain their library privileges over the summer.  Continuing undergraduate students will lose their library privileges if they are not pre-registered for fall classes.

New UA students who are enrolled in classes for the interim/summer term will gain access to the library's online resources in early May.  The dates vary from year to year.  If you have questions or concerns please contact the reference desk at 205-348-6047.

Anyone who graduates from UA in the spring will lose access to the library's online resources in early May.  Congratulations!

Library privileges include the ability to use the Libraries' databases off-campus, using your myBama login.  It also includes circulation services, i.e. the right to check out books.

If you are having problems logging in to the Libraries' online resources but believe you should have access, use this form to report the problem. (And we're sorry about the inconvenience!)
