Each library handles its own lost & found, You can check with the employees at the Circulation Desk in the location where you lost your item.
After one business day, any valuable items (backpacks, cell phones, etc.) may be turned over to the UA Police Department. Contact them at (205) 348-5454 to enquire after your item. Nonvaluable items will remain at the library until the end of the semester.
The Libraries would love to reunite you with your lost item. However, we do not assume any liability for your possessions. Never leave your belongings unattended in the library.
