Crimson Navigate is an interactive web-based information literacy tutorial created by the Libraries' InfoLit++ team in 2006. It consists of a virtual library tour and seven separate modules on basic library research skills and resources; at the end of each module, users can opt to take a quiz to gauge their progress. While it is still available, we do not support it anymore. It has instead been replaced with Roll Tide Research a series of interactive modules that cover topics included in Crimson Navigate, as well as many other useful tutorials.
You may be looking for Crimson Navigate because your instructor asked you to view the modules and take the quizzes. While Crimson Navigate still contains valuable resources you can use to develop your research skills, it was created several years ago; since then, our online catalog and some aspects of the library website and library services have changed. For current tutorials, please visit our How Do I... guide.
If your instructor has asked you to complete the Crimson Navigate tutorial, you can still access it via this direct link.
Please encourage your instructor to contact me so I can let him/her know Crimson Navigate is no longer located on the tutorials page: Michael Pearce via email or by calling 205-348-6194.
