University of Alabama students may borrow books for free from several college and university libraries in Alabama. This may be of particular interest to distance students living far from Tuscaloosa but closer to one of these "reciprocal borrowing" institutions.
Partner libraries include:
Alabama A & M University
Auburn University Library
Bevill State Junior College Library
Huntingdon College Library
Judson College Library
Miles College Library
Selma University Library
Shelton State College Library
Stillman College Library
University of Alabama at Birmingham Library
University of Alabama at Huntsville Library
University of Montevallo Library
University of West Alabama Library
You'll need to present your ACTion card to borrow items and follow the rules and regulations of the institution. Other libraries with which the University does not have a reciprocal borrowing agreement will allow you to use their resources in the library building, although you may not be able to check out materials.
