The ProQuest Dissertations and Theses database contains full text of most U.S. dissertations and master’s theses from 1995 forward, including those written at The University of Alabama. If your thesis or dissertation is indexed there, you can work with ProQuest to order a bound copy.

Dissertations and theses may also be located in the Institutional Repository (IR). You can download the PDF and arrange for private printing and binding.
If your work is not located in the IR, you may request a scanned electronic copy through your local library's interlibrary loan, the UA Libraries catalog, or by emailing librariesannex@ua.eduAny scanned dissertations and theses are then made available in the IR with the author's permission; please provide this permission when you email the Libraries Archival Facility (formerly the Annex) with your request.
