Yes! Members of the general public are welcome to use the UA Libraries.
If you want to check out materials, you can purchase a Bama Borrower's Card at the Gorgas Library Circulation Desk or the Health Science Library. (Cash only outside of normal business hours 8:30 to 4:30.)
If you want to print, you can can purchase a Community User Card from the Circulation Desk in any library location.
Note that remote access to our databases is limited to individuals with active status as student or employee at UA. For access to electronic resources including databases, please visit us in person at UA Libraries. Stop by the Circulation Desk to request a temporary username and password for use on a public computer.
