Q. Can members of the UA Alumni Association maintain library privileges?

To continue using UA Libraries as an alum, you can purchase a Bama Borrower card that will allow you to check out some materials as a community user.

You can also access electronic resources including databases in person UA Libraries. Please stop by the Circulation desk to request a temporary username and password for use on a public computer. We do not provide access to our electronic resources outside the library for alumni or public users.

If you are in Alabama but not able to visit campus, you may want to look into the Alabama Virtual Library, which offers access to many databases at no cost.
