Q. Can a student at the University of West Alabama use Gorgas Library?

Yes! All students and faculty at The University of West Alabama can use materials at The University of Alabama Libraries, including Gorgas Library.

You can visit us and borrow materials (make sure to bring your University ID card).  You can check out up to 5 items and keep them out for up to 30 days.  You may renew them one time if you wish.

You are also welcome to use any of our research databases while you are here at the library.

If you are unable to visit in person, check with your Interlibrary Loan office at the UWA libraries and ask about placing an ILL request to borrow materials to be sent to UWA.
