As a general principle, the library does not purchase traditional textbooks that are used for instructional purposes.

However, some books that are not strictly textbooks may be adopted by faculty for use in their courses. You can search in Scout by the book title to see if we have a copy.

Some faculty may choose to place a textbook on reserve. Most course reserves will be offered electronically on Blackboard, so check there for any required readings. If a print textbook has been placed on reserve, you can search for it on the Course Reserves page of the catalog.
