There are two places in Gorgas that have ready reference materials, which are non-circulating and must be used in-house. On the first floor, there is small bookshelf to the right of the Information Desk that houses books on the following subjects: style guides, software guides, dictionaries, thesauruses, books on the history of the university, and world almanacs and atlases.

On the second floor, there is an entire room dedicated to reference materials. The room is located on the right side of the second floor if you are standing facing the Circulation Desk. There you can find dictionaries, encyclopedias, reference books, and other materials, like daily international periodicals and newspapers.

You can also find reference materials online through the library's Databases page. Serach the term "reference" to find a list of sources.
