While there are some downloadable titles in our ebook collections, most are not available for download to an ereader and must be read on a desktop or laptop computer. Some other electronic content, such as newspaper, magazine, and journal articles from the Libraries' databases, can be downloaded and accessed from an ereader (you can save and load a PDF, for example).

The Tuscaloosa Public Library offers library cards for free to UA students, You can register for an E-card on the Tuscaloosa Public Library Website, which provides access to E-book collections through Libby, Hoopla, and Overdrive. You can also present your student ID at the Public Library to get a full-access library card.
