Members of the public can join the library by purchasing a Bama Borrower card at the circulation desk in Gorgas Library or in the Health Sciences Library. The fee is $25 per year (cash only outside of normal business hours 8:30 to 4:30).
You can also access electronic resources including databases in person at UA Libraries. Please stop by the Circulation desk to request a temporary username and password for use on a public computer. We do not provide access to our electronic resources outside the library for community or public users.
