Answer

If someone is being disruptive, please tell a staff person at the desk on the 1st or 2nd floor.

Gorgas Library's 1st floor is designated as loud; group and individual study, open conversations, and cell phone use are all allowed. The same goes for the 2nd floor with an exception: only individual study and limited conversations are allowed in Room 205. If the noise in these areas is bothering you, you may wish to relocate to one of the library's two designated silent floors, LL and 4M.
